Helmets that come with a cage begin at $49.99.         2100-Helmet

Fitting: A hockey helmet should fit snug to prevent any shifting and maximize protection. Make sure the chinstrap can be adjusted so it gently makes contact under the chin when fastened.

Shoulder Pads: Range from $19.99 to $49.99 in Youth and Junior Sizes.

Fitting: Shoulder pads should fit snugly while the vital tips of the shoulder must be properly under the shoulder caps. The bicep pads should not interfere with the player’s elbow pads.

Elbow Pads: Range from $14.99 to $39.99 in Youth and Junior Sizes.

Fitting: When fastened securely, there should be no gap between the pad and either the biceps extension of the shoulder pad or the cuff of the glove. The elbow pad should not slip or move while fastened.

Nexus800-Gloves          Gloves: Range from $19.99 to $54.99 in Youth and Junior Sizes.

Fitting: Gloves fit differently in the cuff area, both in the width and how far it comes up the wrist. Your glove should come to just below the elbow pads and when you fingers are extended, you should be able to touch the end of the fingers in the glove.

Hockey Pants: Range from $29.99 to $49.99 in Youth and Junior Sizes.

Fitting: Start by getting trying on pants that equate to your waist size. Certain models have different fits but you would want them snug around the waist and they should come down to you knee in length.

Shinguards: Range from $19.99 to $39.99 in Youth and Junior Sizes.

Fitting: Measure from the center of the kneecap to the top of the skate boot. Match the player’s shin size to the inches of shinguard.

Ice Hockey Skates: Range from $49.99 to $99.99 in Youth and Junior Sizes.         One40-sr-skate

Fitting: Ice hockey skate sizing is not necessarily the same as if you were buying sneakers. The optimal fit is with your heal locked into the heal of the skate and your toes barely touching the toe-cap. It is best to have a trained Gear Zone employee size you with a vendor sizing device and walk you through the way different models may fit and feel on your feet.

Ice Hockey Sticks: Range from $39.99 to $99.99 in Youth and Junior Sizes.

Fitting: Ice hockey sticks should come up to at least your chin, some times up to your nose while being on skates but stick length is a personal preference. Deciding between Youth, Junior and Intermediate stick sizes come down to size and age.
