Pat Ferrill
Senior Vice President, Flyers Skate Zone

Pat Ferrill is heading into his 2nd season as Head Coach of the Virtua Hockey (formerly Team Comcast) 2002 team, and his 8th season coaching at Virtua Hockey/Team Comcast.  Pat is also an assistant coach with the 16U National and 18U teams.  Prior to last season, Pat was at the helm of the Team Comcast 2000 Bantam Major team that earned a berth in USA Hockey's National Championships.


Pat also currently serves as Head Coach of the Philadelphia Flyers Quebec PeeWee team (11 years), as well as being a member of the Atlantic Affiliate Coaching Staff for the USA Hockey Player Development Program, and has been teaching since 1995.


Pat offers 30 years of ice hockey coaching experience. His coaching accreditation includes USA Hockey’s Master Level (Boston, MA 1996) and serving as National Coach-in-Chief for USA Hockey InLine (1995-2011).


His broad range of hockey coaching experience spans many various positions, including:


- Head Coach of Villanova University’s ECAC Division III Varsity Men’s Ice Hockey Team (1989-1995)
- Head Coach of University of Pennsylvania ACHA Division I Men’s Ice Hockey Team (1988)
- Head Coach of West Chester Henderson Varsity High School team (3 yrs)
- Head Coach at various levels of the Quakers Youth Hockey Club {Mites through PeeWee}(6 yrs)
- Head Coach of the Philadelphia Junior Flyers {PeeWee through 16U} (6 yrs)
- Assistant Coach for the Chicago Showcase Team Philadelphia (14 yrs)
- Assistant Coach for the Junior Team at the PA Keystone State Games (12 yrs)
- Head Coach for the Bantam Team at the PA Keystone State Games (3 yrs)


In addition to 30 years of ice hockey coaching experience, Pat also has previous experience with InLine Hockey Coaching. He served as Head Coach for the US National Junior Team that won a silver medal at the 1998 World Junior Challenge, held in Corona, California, and served as an Assistant Coach & Team Leader for the US Men’s National Team that received a gold medal at the 1999 World Championships in Helsinki, Finland.
